What inspired you to join Occupy?

Was there a particular event, like the mass arrest on the Brooklyn Bridge, or the police violence against Occupy Oakland?  Were you you involved with the planning of Occupy Wall Street before it became a national movement?

I saw the Adbusters ad on Reddit back in July then went to the first GA's held in August. I was really amazed by the consensus process and got deeply involved in the Internet working group which became the Tech group.
